Gift Wrapping

Come Christmas time most of us will be unwrapping gifts in anticipation of what might be beneath the bow and wrapping paper.

Gift wrapping has widely become part of the gift-giving itself. Wrapping adds to the excitement and personal expression of this celebratory tradition. The colours and themes and quality of the wrapping reflect the relationship between givers and receivers. Think how playful, or casual, or even romantic wrapped gifts can become. Wrappings tend to be bright and shiny for a reason - adding to the desirability of the item like a new car on the showroom floor. Sometimes children seem more interested in the wrapping than the content of the gift.
